Part of the beautiful view of the Murray River from The Bridge Hotel in Jingellic Take your bathers and enjoy a swim in Snowy Creek if you re heading to the Mitta Pub. We Say: Where else could you have lunch, wander down and have a swim in clear, fresh water, then wander back for a refreshing beer? Hard to be disappointed here. THE BRIDGE HOTEL AT JINGELLIC This is another scenic drive once you get off the highway. The distance from Albury- Wodonga to Jingellic approx 115kms via Woomargama or Holbrook. For those wanting a round trip you could return a via well formed dirt road and follow the course of Lake Hume through to Wymah/Bowna before rejoining Hume Highway. The pub overlooks the Murray River and is a very busy spot on long weekend and holiday periods due to the campground on the banks of the river. Open: 7 days, 11am to midnight Monday to Saturday, 11am to 10pm Sunday. Lunch ordering 12 - 2pm, dinner ordering 6 - 8pm. Menu: Varied and hearty meals to to suit the hungriest or fussiest of guests. Established in 1925, carved over the years by local character and quirks and proudly taking the title of the pub that sits closest to the great Murray River, you will be hard-pressed nding a more authentic high-country experience.
